BMW initiated the mid-size Sport Activity Vehicle segment in 2003 launching the initial BMW X3. From the year 2003 BMW X3 started venturing into the premium ambience, sporty vehicles and agility hence accumulating many sales from more than a million units worldwide. The 2nd generation of BMW X3 was initiated in the year 2010; this made it to top in interior and cargo measurement and its class one of the greatest in versatility. BMW recently launched another vehicle, 2015 BMW X3 sport activity vehicle (SAV).
2015 BMW X3 SAV Review
The release date or rather the announcement of the arrival of this enhanced class of vehicles was on 20th February 2014. There are many types like BMW sDrive28i, BMW xDrive28i, BMW xDrive28d; BMW xDrive35i etc.
2015 BMW X3 SAV enhances safety, functionality and luxury. BMW X3 has such features; iDrive controller containing touch pad which is used to put in text using finger movement, Parking Assistant, Full Color BMW Head-up Display, Active Driving Assistant, including Lane Departure Warning, Frontal Collision Warning, Pedestrian Warning City and Mitigation Functionality.
BMW X3 sDrive 28i for example, has a transmission speed of 8-speed which is automatic and over-driven. It is a 4-wheel with anti-lock brakes (abs), the side seat is mounted with airbags, curtain 1st and 2nd row overhead airbags, airbag occupancy sensor, automatic air conditioning, it has aluminum wheels of 18”, cruise control, abs and drive line traction control, DSC plus electronic stability.
In general, about speed in BMW X3 SAV, a sport automatic transaction option that has shift paddles is also there working with M sport or as a stand-alone option. There is also the luxury bit where the sound system has been upgraded to Hi-fi which has nine speakers tapping 205 watts.
The BMW x3 also a variety of either one diesel or two gasoline engines, with outputs ranging from 181 horsepower to 300 horsepower. For example BMW X3 Drive 28i has an engine specification of 2.0 I-4 240 horse power.
BMW X3 is expected to advance by the addition of a BMW Advanced Diesel model to the X3 lineup, hence enhancing efficiency and reducing emissions. 2015 BMW X3 Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) is expected to go on sale the whole of 2014 as a 2015 model hence the brand “2015 BMW”.
The all new xDrive 28d have a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $45,000, while the X3 xDrive 28i, x3xDrive 28i and x3 xDrive35i have MSRPs of, 43,300 and $48,900 respectively.
Interior and exterior
The internal and external design of the 2015 BMW X3 SAV receive stylistic revisions that add more depth to the vehicle practically, while updates to other details promise to express the x3 customer.
There is also an additional technology used to conserve fuel. This technology is the mode known as SAVE Battery, which conserves the vehicle’s battery when selected. As this mode is being used there is also a concept of edrive which has a Proactive Driving Assistant which works together with the navigation system to account for the trip’s route details, traffic conditions and speed restrictions that are effective for the route to be used.
But since BMW has a long term commitment with Samsung SDI to provide them with a substantial amount of electric-car battery cells, we expect the battery quality of 2015 BMW X3 to be much better.
